| Standing
almost 8-feet tall, this garden arbor may be one the largest woodworking
projects you’ll ever build. But don’t let the size scare you - the unique plan
design lets you build the structure in small sections from your shop - then move
the pieces to the yard for easy assembly.

We'll show you step by step how to build the entire project, including how to
anchor the arbor to concrete pads, cut the arches, and assemble the screens. We
used redwood to create a warm and inviting appearance, but white oak or Douglas
fir would also be good choices. Overall size is 91-3/4" high x 75" wide x 47"
deep. This woodworking plan appeared in Woodsmith magazine No. 111.
