Easy-to-build project cleans up messy entryway!
Starting with an unnfinished kitchen cabinet from a home center (see below), anyone with a few common power tools can bring this project together in a snap.

We literally "wrapped" the pre-fab cabinet with plywood sheets - two end panels that raise the bench to a comfortable sitting height, and a wide storage tray underneath for keeping shoes neatly tucked inside.

Tying it all together is a traditional wall treatment consisting of V-grooved car siding, horizontal boards, and some decorative molding. We included plenty of coat hooks to make this unit a complete entryway storage center.
