With a large worksurface and lots of handy storage, this work center is sure to please even the most demanding hobbyist.

The design includes two shelf units that support a waist-high tabletop. The shelf units include plenty of space for tools, supplies, and extra storage. Plus, the center is designed so you can easily replace the top in the future (if it takes a beating). We also included an optional design for building a stackable shelf cabinet.

Tongue and dado joinery means the shelf units are strong and sturdy. And since all the joinery is the same size, so there's only one easy setup on the table saw. This project plan appeared in Woodsmith magazine No. 193.
